Initial concept design pitched towards group project, demonstrating material characteristics. Exploring inside/outside focusing in inspiration from the sea and the spiral form of the conch seashell. The chair embodies the feeling of the ocean utilising touch. The frame abstracts the spiral form as it swallows the body as the user sits in a gelatinous membrane, moulding to their bodies replicating the feeling of the oceans movement.
